Africa's first Android one Smartphone, Infinix Hot 2 has recieved an OTA update to fix some bugs, boost security and improve stability. This comes just barely four weeks of the device been sold and Google/infinix are already keeping their words of releasing updates regularly.
How do i update my device?
Hot2 users can simply follow the following instructions to get their devices updated
- Go to settings
- Scroll down to About phone and select
- Click on the first option; system update and download.
- Make sure you have a good Internet connection. You can choose wifi option or untick it to use mobile network(can be downloaded with psiphon/Simple Android Server)
- After downloading the update select install and your phone will restart and install the update and thats all.
Note: If you have rooted do not attempt this update or you will brick your phone and would have to chill till there is a flashable rom, but users with no root access are good to go. even if you unroot, its not advice able you try this OTA update yet.
